Eligibility Criteria for Bihar Prisons & Correctional Services 2016 – 405 DEO & Programmer Posts
Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates Age should be between 21 Years & 37 Years as on 01.10.2016. The upper Age Limit will be relaxed by 05 Years for SC/ST and 03 Years for OBC Category candidates as per extent rules of Government.
Educational Qualification:
» Programmer & Assistant Programmer: Degree in Computer Science or Engineering in IT/ CSE or MCA or M.SC Computer Science and 3 years with proficiency in Basic Computer Operation. Candidates those have completed PGDCA are also eligible to apply.
» Data Entry Operator (DEO): Candidates should possess the Senior Secondary (10+2) pass certificate for the recognized Council or Institute with Diploma in Computer operation. Knowledge of MS Office and Hindi Typing 30 WPM and English 40 WPM is required.

Selection of the candidates will be based on performance in the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination followed by Personal Interview conducted by the Competent Authority.
