Educational Qualification:-
i) GDMO: MBBS from a recognized University and must have completed one year rotating internship and should be in possession of a valid Registration Certificate issued by any of the State Medical Councils/Medical Councils of India.
ii) Specialists (Internist specialist, Chest Specialist): MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in the respective field of specialty recognized by MCI and should be in possession of a valid Registration Certificate issued by any of the State Medical Councils/Medical Councils of India
Age Limit:-
(a) Entry level age not exceeding 53 years as on 01.01.2021 (5 years’ age relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
(b) Maximum age limit is 65 years.
(c) In case of Retired Railway/Government Doctors: Maximum age limit is 67 years.
Remuneration:-
General Duty Medical Practitioner (GDMO): Rs.75,000/- per month
Specialists: Rs.95,000/- per month
For Retired Railway/Government Doctor: Rs.75000/- per month subject to the condition that the remuneration + pension drawn by retired doctor should not exceed the last pay drawn at the time of retirement.
