Pay Scale: Rs.10,300 – 34,800/- plus Grade Pay Rs.4,200/- (With initial Start of Rs.16,290/-)
Eligible Criteria for JBT and NTT post of Chandigarh Education Department
Essential Qualification for the post of JBT: 1). Candidates should have possess Graduate or its equivalent from a recognised University with 40% marks in aggregate and at least 50% marks at 10+2 level, 2) Diploma in Basic Teacher Training of not less than 2 years duration recognized by NCTE, with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR JBT Certificate / Diploma of not less than 2 years duration with at least 50% marks recognized by Chandigarh Administration.
Essential Qualification for the post of NTT: A.1). Senior Sec. School Certificate (10+2) or Intermediate or its equivalent at least 50% marks in aggregate and 2) Diploma or Certificate in NTT or its equivalent from an Institute recognized by NCTE of Not less than 2 years duration with at least 50% marks, OR Senior Sec. School Certificate (10+2) or Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate and NTT certificate / Diploma of not less than two years duration with at least 50% marks recognized by Chandigarh Administration.
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 21 years to 30 years as on 1st January, 2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.
Selection Process: Two objective type of 100 Marks each will be conducted. Candidates will be selected on the basis of total marks obtained in two tests. Qualifying marks for each test will be 40% for SC category candidates and 45% for all other candidates. No interview will be conducted. There will be no negative marking .
Application Fee: Application fee amounting to Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for Reserved Category) will be accepted through online mode/ challan.

Eligible Candidates can apply through online from 03-11-2014 to 25-11-2014 up to 5.00 PM on the website http://recruitment-portal.in. After submission of online application, registration form will be generated. Candidate has to take out two print outs of the registration form and the same has to be brought on the date of verification of documents along with original and photo copy of all documents. Print out of Online application in NOT to be submitted either personally or through post.
