Educational Qualification:
i. Sub-Inspector: Degree of recognized University or equivalent. or
(a) Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2)
(b) Diploma in Security and Investigation Technology (3 years course)
ii. Constable: Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent qualification.
iii. Searcher: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
iv. Assistant Sub-Inspector:
(a) SSC or equivalent.
(b) Diploma in Electronics of recognized Institution.
v. Photographer:
(a) SSC or equivalent
(b) Diploma in Photography from a recognized Institution of University or equivalent.
(c) Certificate Course in Composite Course in Reproduction Photography, Plate Making and Offset Printing of recognized Board or Institute.
(d) Three years experience as a Photographer in an Agency of concern of repute with knowledge of printing, developing, enlarging, the coloring of photos, and Other Processing work.
vi. Laboratory Technician: Bachelors Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognized university.
vii. Constable (Bandman): Passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/Institution.
viii. Constable (Mast Luskar): S.S.C.E or equivalent.
ix. Constable (Wireless Messeager): S.S.C.E or equivalent
x. Stenographer: Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
xi. Lower Division Clerk: Possessing Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
Age Limit:
a) Sub-Inspector: 20-28 Years.
b) Constable: 18-28 Years.
c) Constable (Mast Luskar): 18-22 Years.
d) Other Posts: Not exceeding 45 years.
