Eligible Criteria for Mizoram Police Recruitment 2015

Criteria : As per above approval, the following will be criteria for Recruitment of 20 Nos. of Constable (UB) :-

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed HSLC or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board / Institution.

Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 18 years to 28 years as on 30.09.2015 (Age relaxable by 5 years in case of SC / ST on 30.09.2015.)

Physical Test (Qualifying Only) :

1. 1 Km Race : 5 minutes
2. 100 m Race : 15 Seconds
3. High Jump : 1 meter
4. Long Jump : 3.30 meters

Written Test :

1. English & Mathematics combined – 100 marks
2. General Knowledge & Intellignece Question Test : 100 marks.

Personal Interview : 50 marks (Qualifying marks – 25)

Recruitment Board : Police Establishment Board shall atc as Recruitment Board. However to conduct Physical Test / Written Test and Interview, the following Officer are appointed as Physical / Written / Interview Test Board will submit the results to the Police Establishment Board in order of merit for final approval.

Physical Measurement : The works of police in general and Constable in particular is involving mostly physical activities. The general principle in recruitment of police every where is normally based on good physique which is expected to be higher than that of the normal person. The measurement cited below is for minimum yardsticks. Among equals in all respects, candidates with better physique and height should always be preferred.

a) Height : 182 cms (Relaxable to 178 cms. in absence of sufficient candidates with 182 cms and above).

b) Chest : 84 Cms. Normal (Relaxable to 79 Cms. for SC / ST) 89 Cms. Expanded (Relaxable to 84 Cms. for SC / ST).

Physical Test : There will be physical test in the following disciplines to test the physical fitness of the candidates. No mark will be given for performance. The test will be conducted only to qualify or disqualify the candidates. However, the records of individual performance should be maintained against each candidate. If any candidate fails to turn up for the test in his turn, he cannot claim conduct of the test for him as of right.

a) 1 Kilometer race : Qualifying 5 minutes
b) 100 meter race : Qualifying 15 seconds
c) High Jump : Qualifying 1 meter
d) Long Jump : Qualifying 3.30 meters

Other Qualifications :

a) Shall be an Indian Citizen.
b) If married, shall have only one spouse living.
c) Shall be able to read and write in Mizo at least up to MSLC standard.
d) Age – 18-28 years (relaxable by 5 years for ST / SC) as on 30.09.2015.

Written Test : There will be written test for those who qualify the physical efficiency test carrying 200 marks. The paper will carry questions on :-

1. English & mathematics combined : 100 marks
2. General Knowledge & IQ Test : 100 marks.

Interview : In pursuance of Govt. of Mizoram order issued vide No. A. 12021/1/2002-P&AR (GSW) dt. 1.4.03, thrice the numbers of vacancies / posts plus five shall be called for an interview. After evaluation of test papers is completed, interview shall be conducted by the Recruitment Board at the convenient place. Interview shall carry 50 marks and 25 marks as qualifying. The board will decided among themselves how to grade the candidates during the interview. During the interview, the candidate should be tested in his physical frame. His general suitability for police jobs should be objectively assessed. Those physically unfit from appearance and mentally weak should be appropriately graded.

Medical Examination : Medical Examination of the candidates shall be conducted by the Medical Officers of 1st Bn. MAP and 3rd Bn. MAP. In addition to the general health, the following deformities should be the ground for disqualification. The Doctor should specify in a form such deformities and no relaxation be made so that only healthy and fittest get selected. Medical exam for physical deformities etc., should be done before physical tests and only those medically found qualified shall be allowed for the physical test.

1. Knock, Knee and severe bow legged.
2. Flat foot.
3. Cross eyed.
4. Missing tooth or severe tooth decay.
5. Skin problem of permanent nature.
6. Any sign of abuse of drugs.
7. Any physical deformities.
8. Impaired vision.
9. Impaired hearing
10. Obscene / large and objectionable tattoo mark on any prominent part of the body.
11. Any forms of illness internally or externally which is of permanent nature, which can hinder performance of normal police works.

How to Apply for Mizoram Police Recruitment 2015

Issue of Application Form : Establishment Br., PHQ shall prepared Application form and send them to all District SPs in sufficient numbers. Willing candidates will get the application form on payment of Rs.50/- which shall be used for meeting various requirements in connection with the conduct of recruitment.

Submission of Application Forms : Application duly filled up with 2 recent Passport size photo should be submitted individually by the candidates to the Test Board on 12.10.2015 between 10:00 am to 05:00 pm. at 3rd Bn. MAP Ground, Mualpui Aizawl.
