Eligibility Criteria for Goa Police Recruitment 69 Constable, LDC, Stenographer & Other Posts 2016
Age Limit & Relaxation:
Applicants Age should be not exceeding 45 years for all posts as on 16.08.2016 (born between 17.08.1971 and 16.08.1998 both dates inclusive). Upper age limit is relaxable for Reserved Category Candidates as per Govt. Rules.
Educational Qualification:
Pharmacist (Armed Police): Candidates should possess Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognied University and should be registered with the State Council of Pharmacy.
Stenographer & LDC: Higher Secondary (10+2) School Certificate (HSSC) or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution and should be proficient in the Basis Computer operation.
Police Constable (Wireless): S.S.C.E. or equivalent from the recognized Board or Institution
Barber & Other: Candidates must have completed Class IV Standard or equivalent and practical experience in any licensed saloon. Please refer the Official notification for Post-wise detail educational qualification.
Terms & Conditions Regarding Goa Police Recruitment 2016 – 69 Constable, LDC, Stenographer & Other
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on their performance in the Written Examination followed by Practical Test conducted by the competent Authority.
Salary Scale:
Selected candidates will be placed in Regular Pay Scale as follows –
For Post No. A: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,800/-
For Post No. B: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,400/-
For Post No. C to F: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900/-
For Post No. G & H: Rs. 4,440 – 7,440/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,300/-
Apart from this the candidates will entitle to get DA, HRA & Other allowances applicable as per Government rules.
