State Level Police Recruitment Board Assam Recruitment 2023
Educational Qualification:-
1. Sub Inspector of Police (UA) in Assam Police – Candidate must have Passed Graduation.
2. Sub Inspector (AB) for Assam Commando Battalions – Candidate must have Passed Graduation.
3. Constable for Assam Commando Battalions – Candidate must have Passed HSLC (10th).
4. Constables (AB) in Assam Police – Candidate must have Passed HSLC (10th).
5. Constables (UB) in Assam Police – Candidate must have Passed HS (12th).
6. Driver Constable in Assam Police – Candidate must have Passed HSLC (10th) + Driving licence for LMV or MMV or HMV.
Age Limit:-
(i) Sub Inspector of Police (UA) in Assam Police – 20 to 26 Years.
(ii) Sub Inspector (AB) for Assam Commando Battalions – 20 to 24 Years.

Physical Standards:-
i. Height (Minimum) For Male & Female:-
a) Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC: Male – 162 cm & Female – 154.94 cm
b) ST(H)/ ST(P): Male – 160.02 cm & Female – 152.40 cm
ii. Chest (Only for men):-
a) Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P): Normal – 80 cm, Expanded – 85 cm
b) ST(H) Normal – 78 cm, Expanded – 83 cm
Physical Efficiency Test:-
Male Candidates:
a) Race: Those who qualify in the PST will have to appear in 1600 meters race to be completed within 450 seconds. Maximum qualifying time 450 seconds.
b) Long Jump: Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
Female Candidates:
a) Race : Those who qualify in the PST will have to appear in 800 meters race to be completed within 240 seconds. Maximum qualifying time -240 seconds.
b) Long Jump : Minimum 244 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
