Pay Scale : Pay Band-2 of Rs.5200-20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.3000/- plus other allowances.
Eligible Criteria for Assam Secretariat Department Recruitment 2014
Age Limit : Candidates age limit should be between 18 years to 38 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification : Candidates should possess Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, should have computer knowledge in Windows & MS Office.
Selection Process : Short listing of candidates for interview shall be carried out based on the performance in the Written Test (330 Marks). The Syllabus for Written examination will be as under :-
- General English including General Knowledge Knowledge & Quantitative Aptitude : 100 Marks
- Precis writing & Drafting (either in English or in Assamese) : 100 Marks
- General Assamese/Bengali/Bado/Alternative English : 50 Marks
- Interview : 30 Marks
- Knowledge of Computer : 50 Marks
