Eligibility Criteria for Burdwan District Judgeship Recruitment 2016 – 130 LDC, Stenographer & other
Post-wise Educational Qualification:
(a) For the Post of English Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk & Typist – Candidates must have passed Madhyamik (10th) or Equivalent examination from any recognized Board and at least a certificate in computer training from a recognized institutions and a satisfactory fingering speed in computer operation. Apart from this shorthand & Computer Typing speed is required for the post of English Stenographer & Typist posts.
(b) For the Post of Process Server & Peon Posts – Candidate must have Class-VIII passed certificate from any recognized school or recognized Madrasah or any other recognized equivalent institution.
(c) For the Post of Gardener & Sweeper – Candidate must have ability to read and write Bengali
Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates Age should be less than 40 Years as on 01.01.2016. The upper Age Limit will be Relaxed for Reserved Category as per Government Norms.
Salary Scale:
Selected Candidates will be placed in a Regular Pay scale of Rs.7,100 – 37,600/- with Grade Pay of Rs.3,900/- for the Post of English Stenographer. For the other posts Salary Scale will be Rs.5,400 – 25,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2,600/- (post specific).
Selection Procedure:
Candidates selection will be based on Common Written Test followed by Personal Interview.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- General Candidates, Rs. 50/- for SC/ST Candidates for Post No. 1 to 5, and Rs. 150/- for General candidates and Rs. 25/- for SC & ST Candidates for Post No. 6 to 10 through payment online mode using Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.
