Qualification for Gail Recruitment 2014
Officer (Library):
Candidates must have possess Graduate with Master Degree in Library Science with minimum 60% marks.
Officer (Official Language):
Candidates must have possess Master Degree in Hindi Literature with minimum 60% marks and should have English as one of the subjects in Graduation.
Desirable: Degree or Diploma in translation in Hindi to English and Vice-versa from any recognized University or equivalent.
Officer (Laboratory):
Candidates must have possess Master Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks.
Age Limit:
Upper age limit 32 years
The upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC(Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, 05 years for PWD-General and 08 years for PWD-OBC(NCL) candidates. The above relaxation in upper age limit is applicable only in respect of posts which are reserved for OBC (NCL) candidates. SC/ST/OBC(NCL) candidates applying against unreserved (UR) posts shall be considered under general standard of merit and no relaxation in upper age limit shall be available to them. The details age relaxation are available in the notification.
Pay Scale:
Pay Scale of Rs.20,600/- to Rs.46,500/- for the above mention posts.
Application Fees:
General and OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates have to pay application fees Rs.200/- by Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of GAIL (India) limited payable at New Delhi.
