Eligibility Criteria for IIT Madras Recruitment 2016
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed 1st class B.E/ B.Tech in civil/ Electrical Engineering with 10 years experience of 5 years as Executive Engineer or equivalent for P. Code- 1, 5 & 9
Candidates should have passed a Post Graduate degree with 55% marks or its equivalent for P. Code- 2 & 3
Candidates should have passed an MBBS degree of a University recognized by IMC with 3 years of clinical experience in recognized hospitals for P. Code- 4
Candidates should have passed the Graduate with Masters degree in Physical education for 2 year course with 5 years relevent experience for P. Code- 6
Candidates should have passed 1st Bachelors degree in Arts, Science, Humanities Commerce with 6 years experience in relevant administrative areas for P. Code- 7 & 11
Candidates should have passed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years experience in the field of HVAC System, Fire Fighting Systems, Lifts and Domestic/ Sewage Pumps for P. Code- 8
Candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering/ Graduate in Arts/ Science or SSLC with 2 year ITI course relevent experiences for P. Code- 10
Candidates should have passed the SSLC with higher physical fitness for P. Code- 12
Age Limit:
Candidates will be aged maximum 50 years for P. Code- 1 & 2
Candidates will be aged maximum 45 years for P. Code- 3 to 6
Candidates will be aged maximum 32 years for P. Code- 7 to 9
Candidates will be aged maximum 27 years for P. Code- 10 to 12
SC/ ST candidates will be aged relaxation for 5 years.
OBC candidates will be aged relaxation for 3 years.
PD/ Ex-serviceman will age relaxation as per Government of India norms.
