Eligible Criteria for IMD Recruitment 2015 – 35 Project Scientist
Educational Qualification:
1) Project Scientist D: Candidates should possess Masters Degree from recognized university in Agricultural Sciences / B. Tech in Engineering / Technology (computer Science / Computer Engineering from a recognized
University with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level. With minimum 7 years experience in extreme weather analysis in changing climate scenario, its impact, mitigation and adaptation in agriculture crop simulation model and decision support tools development with working knowledge using Remote Sensing and GIS software in development of weather based Agromet advisory products.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be as on 01/01/2015 is 28 years for Project Scientist B, 40 years for Scientist C and 50 years for Scientist D. Upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates should be as per Govt. rules.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected through interview. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of performance inn interview.
