Educational Qualification
Eligible candidates have to possess BVSc/BVSc & AH degreefrom any of the recognized Indian University or its equivalent foreign Degree (i.e. the candidate must possess recognized veterinary qualification included in the first or second schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984). NOTE : CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE PASSED THE QUALIFYING EXAMINATION WITH INTERNSHIP AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION. CANDIDATES WHO ARE NOT IN POSSESSION OF MARK SHEETS OF ALL YEARS/PAR T/SEM ESTERS(INCLUDING FINAL/PART/SEM ESTER) OF QUALIFYING EXAMINATION NEED NOT APPLY.
Pay Scale and others Allowances
Officers, on commissioning the rank of Captain are entitled to a basic pay of Rs.15600/-with GP Rs. 6100/- Military Service Pay of Rs. 6000/-, Non Practice Allowance (NPA) @ 25% of basic pay, in addition to Kit Maintenance Allowance (KMA) and DA plus others benefits.
Age limit for Short Service Commission:
Age as on 01/09/2014 21 years to 32 years
