Eligibility Criteria for IPWE offering Diploma in Railway Engineering Course 2016
Educational Qualification:
For Non-Railway Persons: Candidates should have completed 3 Years Diploma in any discipline of Engineering from recognized University or Institute or Graduate having Maths or Science as one of the subjects in Intermediate (10+2).
For Railway Personnel: Candidates should possess Senior Secondary (10+2) and having a minimum of 3 Years experience over Railways or having 3 Years Diploma in any engineering discipline recognized by Central or State Government.
Course Fees:
Railway Personnel (Serving): Rs. 2,000 with Rs. 300 Service Tax (Semester-I / Rs. 2,400 with Rs. 360/- Service Tax (Semester-II).
Non-Railway persons: Rs. 2,500 with Rs. 375 Service Tax (Semester-I) / Rs. 2,900 with Rs.360/- Service Tax (Semester-II).
Optional Contact Classes: Rs. 3,000 with Rs. 450 Service Tax (Semester-I) / Rs. 3,000 with Rs. 450/- Service Tax (Semester-II).
How to Apply for IPWE offering Diploma in Railway Engineering Course 2016
Offline Mode of Application: Interested candidates may collect the Prospectus containing the Application Form along-with other details can be obtained from the office of IPWE (India), at the address given above or at our associate office in Baroda House, New Delhi either in cash by paying Rs. 100/- or by sending Bank Draft of Rs. 150/-(including postal charges) in favour of IPWE (India) payable at New Delhi along with a self addressed envelop (size 25 cm x 15 cm.).
Online Mode of Application: Eligible candidates who apply through e-mail will be provisionally admitted. Intimation about the provisional admission will be sent through e mail address indicated by candidates after which the candidate should send an attested copy of the eligibility qualification along with a DD of Rs.2975/-(including Service Tax & cost of Prospectus) in favour of ‘Institution of Permanent Way Engineers (India), New Delhi‘. The candidates may please note that the facility of e-mail admission is applicable only for admission to Semester-I and for non Railway persons only.
