Eligibility Criteria for IRDAI Recruitment 2016
Educational Qualification for IRDAI Recruitment 2016
Actuarial: Candidates should possess first class Bachelor’s Degree (with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years) and Pass in Nine papers of Institute of Actuaries.
Accounting: Candidates should have done first class Bachelor’s Degree (with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years), and ACA / AICWA / ACS.
Legal:
1. First Class Bachelor’s Degree (with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years), and
2. LL.B with 60% marks
or
Five year Integrated LLB Course in First class with 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years.
General: First Class Bachelor’s Degree (with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years).
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 21 years to 35 years. Age shall be reckoned as on 01.01.2016. i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.01.1981 and later than 31.12.1994.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit for the post of Junior Officer will be relaxed as under:
1. SC/ST: By 5 years, i.e. up to a maximum of 40 years
2. OBC: By 3 years, i.e. up to a maximum of 38 years.
3. PWD: By 10 years (UR), 13 years (OBC) and 15 years (SC/ST)
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Online preliminary examination, Online Descriptive examination and Interview.
Application Fee / Intimation Charges: Candidates have to pay of Rs.500/- for Other than SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen and Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen. Candidates have to make the payment of requisite fee / intimation charges through the ON-LINE mode only.
