Pay scales : Scales of Pay and other admissible allowances for Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor are as per State Government Orders.
Eligible Criteria for Kalyani University Teaching Post
Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 50 years for Professor Post, between 45 years for Associate Professor post & not mote than 37 years for Assistant Professor Post.
Educational Qualification for Kalyani University Teaching Post
Professor : Candidates must have possess an eminent scholar with Ph.D. degree in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work a minimum of 10 publivcations as books.
Associate Professor : Candidates must have possess a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ Allied / relevant disciplines. and A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is fillowed).
Assistant Professor : Overall good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed ) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Application / Examination Fees : Application forms will be available at the Directorate of Recruitment, 1st Floor, Administrative Building of the University on week days from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm during 05-09-2014 to 25-09-2014 by paying application fee of Rs.1,000/- for the posts of Professors; Rs.800/- for the posts of Associate Professors and Rs.700/- for the posts of Assistant Professors in cash at the cash counter of the University. SC/ST candidates are to pay one fourth of the application fees.
