KTET October 2015 – Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test : Kerala Government has published an advertisement for announcing vacancies of Teacher . The Indian Citizens (both male and Female)are invites to apply for the vacancies of Teacher for Category I(Lower Primary Classes) Category II(Upper Primary Classes) Category III (High School Classes) and Category IV (for Language Teacher – Arabic,Hindi,Sanskrit,Urdu(Up to Classes),Specialist Teachers(Art&Crafts) and Physical Education Teachers. Eligibility For applying K-TET 2015

Category -I : Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary(Or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two year Trained Teacher Certificate(TTC) conducted by Board of Examination Govt of Kerala or its equivalent.Or Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education(B.El.Ed).

Category-II: B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) [by whatever name known] conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalen. Or Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

Category- III:
(i) BA/BSc/B.Com with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned (from any one of the Universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other Universities recognized as equivalent thereto.)
(ii) For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, those who have MSc.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned with not less than 50% marks from one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT will be eligible to apply. For Botany and Zoology subjects, those with MSc.Ed. Degree in Life Science with not less than 50% marks from any of the Regional Institutes of Education are eligible to apply.

Age Limit: There is no age Limit prescribed for candidates appearing for K-TET.

Application Fee: The Exam fee for each category is Rs. 500/-(Five Hundred Only)
The fee for SC/St and differently abled categories is Rs.250/-(Rupees two Hundred and Fifty only)

How to Apply for KTET 2015

Eligible and interested candidates may apply online through the organization official website http://www.keralapareekshabhavan.in from 10.08.2015 to 28.09.2015.print out of the confirmed application should be kept with the candidate.There are two steps for submitting the application

  1. Log on to the official website of pareekshabhavan Click on K-TET 2015. Click on K-TET ONLINE APPLICATION-STEP 1. Fill in the required details Photo should be uploaded in JPEG format and size below 30 KB. Choose any of the available branches of State Bank of Travancore in and around various places in India. After filling all the details click “SUBMIT”. Three copies of the Chalan will be displayed. Take the printout of the chalan and remit the amount in the selected branch of SBT.
  2. After remitting the amount, log on to the official website of pareekshabhavan again and click on K-TET ONLINE APPLICATION – STEP 2. Here enter application ID and application number provided in the Chalan. Any correction in caste, category of caste and exam category will not be allowed after remitting Chalan amount. Other corrections if any required should be made before confirming the application. A copy of printout of the application should be kept by the candidate for future use.

Note: print out of the Chalan, application form and copy of the certificates need not be sent to pareekshabhavan.

KTET Admit Card 2015

Admit Card: The Admit Card for all eligible candidates will be available in the website http://www.Keralapareekshabhavan.in  from 28.09.215 which will be announced later through notification in print and electronic media and in the website of Pareeksha Bhavan.

  • No candidate will be admitted to the examination centre unless he/she produces the valid Admit Card.
  • Duplicate Admit Card (Hall Ticket) to the pass Candidate whose hall ticket is irrecoverably lost will be issued by the Pareekshabhavan at the cost of Rs.100/- (Rs.One hundred only). The amount can be remitted as fee to the Head of Account 0202-01-102-92 other receipts.
