Eligibility Criteria for Lakshadweep Administration Recruitment 2015
Age Limit : (as on 02.11.2015)
18 years to 25 years (Relaxable for SC / ST candidates, Ex-Servicemen and other special categories of person in accordance with instructions or orders issued by Government of India from time to time).
Educational Qualification :
Lower Division Clerk :
i) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
ii) Skill Test only on Computer as follows :
a) English Typing @ 35 Words per Minute
(Time Allowed : 10 Minutes)(35 words per minute correspend to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
Stenographer Gr.III :
1. Candidates should possess 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
2. Pass Certificate in the Stenography trade from a recognized Board or University or Institution.
3. Skill test in Typing and transcription in Stenography only on Computer.
4. Skill Test Norms :
Dictation : 10 Mts @ 80 words pm Transcription : 50 Mts (English) 65 Mts (Hindi).
Village Extension Officer :
(i) PDC/+2 qualification from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Candidate after recruitment will be deputed for 6 months Pre-Service Training Course for VEOs in Kerala State. During training period selected candidate shall be given full pay and allowances or as decided by the Appointing Authority.
NOTE : Candidates who does not possess the required qualification as on 02.11.2015 are not eligible to apply.
Selection Process : Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination for the post of village extension officer and on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination and pass in typing / stenography test for the post of LDC / Stenographer. Eligible candidates can aplly for all the three posts; however, selection will be made as per the options exercised by the candidates. Candidates are required to exercise the post option in the application form as per their eligibility.
