Lucknow University MCA – BCA Admission 2015: Lucknow University has invited applications for admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) for the academic session 2015-16.  Eligibility for Lucknow University MCA Admission 2015

B.Sc. or B.C.A/B.E/B.Tech of minimum three year duration with a minimum of 50% marks for Gen/OBC and 45% marks for SC/ST and Mathematics/Computer Science/Computer application as on the subject at Intermediate/ Higher Secondary (i.e. 10+2) level. Students of Passed (without any back paper) in all semester and having 50% marks up-to 5th semester for GEN/OBC and 45% marks SC/ST respectively. Similarly University of affiliated college of Lucknow University can apply if candidate passed in 1st year having 50% marks in both years for GEN/OBC and 45% marks SC/ST respectively.

b The admission shall be done on the basis of combined entrance test (100 marks). There shall be no negative marking. Entrance Test Question paper will consist of multiple choice question. Details are as:-

 Part:- A: 40 Multiple Choice Questions, based on Logical reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, English Comprehension, General Knowledge.

Part:- B:- 60 Multiple Choice Questions, based on B.C.A/B.Sc. (Computer Science) Syllabus of University of Lucknow.

Venue:- For Entrance Examination test:- Department of Computer Science, University of Lucknow, Lucknow

Time:- For Entrance Examination test:- One and Half hours (90 Minutes).

 Important Information:-

1. Application form of M.C.A admission is available on the website of University of Lucknow, Lucknow (www.lkouniv.ac.in) from 20th March 2015.

  1. Application fees for MCA admission, Rs 800/- for Gen/OBC Candidates and Rs.400/- for SC/ST Candidates. Application fees must be submitted through demand draft in favour of “Finance Officer, University of Lucknow”, Lucknow.
  1. Application form must be send to Admission chairman LUCSAT-2015 by Speed Post only along with demand draft, Self Attested Xerox copies of certificates/Marks Sheets and Two Self addressed Envelops size (27x12cm) duly stamped with Rs.39/-. No application form shall be accepted by hand.
  1. Last date to receive duly filled application form by the Admission Chairman LUCSAT-2015, Office of the admission, Department of Computer of Computer Science, LU 30th May-2015.
  1. There shall be no weight-age of any P.G. Degree/Diploma.
  1. Date of MCA Entrance Examination is 10th June-2015 at 9.00am to 10.30 am.

How to Apply for Lucknow University MCA Admission 2015

  1. The Application form will be available only at the website <www.lkouniv.ac.in>, from which it can be downloaded.
  2. The Application form must be filled in Capital letters by the candidate in his/her own handwriting.
  3. Incomplete Application forms will be subjected to rejection. The candidate would have then no claim.
  4. The Candidates have to submit self attested Xerox copy of relevant Certificates/Mark sheets along with application.
  5. If candidate failed to get admit card for MCA entrance examination on or before 8th June-2015, then candidate can approach to Department of Computer Science University of Lucknow, to get duplicate Admit Card on 9th June between 2.00 to 4.00pm.Candidate has to bring two photographs and the Xerox copy of the application form.
  6. The existing reservation rules of the University shall apply in admitting the students to M.C.A. course.
  7. Candidates must write Name and address with phone number on back side of the demand draft.
  8. (a) Application form must be submitted by Speed Post only along-with demand draft of Rs. 800/-for General/OBC Candidate and Rs. 400/-for SC/ST Candidate in favour of  “Finance Officer, University of Lucknow, Lucknow ”payable at Lucknow, No application form shall be accepted by hand.

(b) Self Attested Xerox copies of certificates/Mark Sheets and Two Self addressed Envelops size (27x12cm) duly stamped with Rs.39/- must be submitted along with application form.

  1. In any circumstances application fees in the form of bank draft is not refundable.
  2. Candidate are required to make sure that all relevant documents, Certificates/ application fee bank draft have been enclosed with application form, otherwise it is not possible to enclosed any type of documents /Certificates after submission of application form. In such circumstances, application form may be rejected.
