Age Limit & Its Relaxation:
Candidates Age should be less than 40 Years (45 Years for SC/ ST/ SEBC/ EBC Candidates) as on 25.06.16. The upper Age Limit relaxation will be available for Reserved Category as per Government norms.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have completed the Matriculation (10th) Level of Education or equivalent from recognized Board or Institution with 6 months Fireman Training course from All India Institute of Local Self Government, Nehru Bhavan, Vadodara or equivalent.
Physical Standard:
Candidates should possess good health & sound mind along-with following measurement criteria –
Height: 165 Cm.
Weight: 50 Kgs.
Chest: 81 Cm.
Chest: 86 Cm. (on expansion)
Vision: 6/6 without wearing glasses or any other aid. Night or colour blindness shall be disqualification.

Selection Process:
Selection of the candidates will be based on performance in the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) followed by Common Written Examination. Final selection will be based on performance in the Written Examination.
Salary Scale:
Selected candidates will be placed in a Regular Pay Scale of Rs. 7,300 – 17,940/- besides DA, HRA & other allowances applicable as per Government norms. In the initial stage the salary will be Rs. 16,500/- (approx).
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for Reserved Category) for General & OBC category candidates. Application Fee can be paid either through deposit the exam fee in any of the Branches of State Bank of India by challan form or online through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking.

Age Limit :
