Eligibility Criteria for Mumbai Port Trust Recruitment 2016 – Technician & Trade Apprentice :
Educational Qualification :
(a) Medico Laboratory Technician – Candidates must posses Higher Secondary (10+2) pass certificate with respective trade Vocational Training.
(b) X-Ray Technician – Candidates must posses Higher Secondary (10+2) pass certificate with respective trade Vocational Training.
(c) Pharmaceutical Technician – Candidates must posses Diploma in pharmacy from Board of Technical Education.
Age Limit : Candidates age must be more than 14 Years. But their in no upper limit of Age. Candidates age between 14 to 18 are not eligible to sign the contract as they are belong in the Minor Category. In case of Minor candidates their contracts are required to be sign by their Guardians.
Monthly Stipend :
(a) Medico Laboratory Technician – Rs.2758/- only
(b) X-Ray Technician – Rs.2758/- only
(c) Pharmaceutical Technician – Rs.3542/- only
Cost of Application Form : Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only)

Eligibility Criteria for Mumbai Port Trust Recruitment 2016
Age Limit: Candidates maximum age limit for all the above positions is 55 years. Age relaxation as per Govt. Rules.
The crucial date for determining eligibility criteria viz., educational qualification, experience, age etc. shall be as on 01.12.2015.
The Post qualification experience will be reckoned as experience for eligibility to the respective Posts.
Only eligible candidates who fulfill the criteria of essential educational qualification, experience, age etc. prescribed for respective positions and the candidates who obtained 60% and above marks in the essential educational qualification shall only apply. Separate application shall be submitted for each position in case the candidate wish to apply for two or more categories of posts.
The candidates should clearly indicate the percentage of marks in the application form. If the CGPA grading is mentioned in the mark sheet, the candidates shall be responsible for converting the said grading into accurate percentage as per the criteria adopted by the respective University / Institution.
Selection Process:
a) 90% weight-age will be given to qualification and experience of candidates and 10% weight age on performance in interview.
b) Depending upon the response, the administration reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview. A ratio of 1:3 may be followed with regard to vacancies and candidates called for interview.
