Eligible Criteria for NIE Recruitment 2015
For the Post Project Assistant-Statistics(Previously Technical Assistant):-
Educational Qualification:- Candidates should be possess Three years graduate degree with Statistics (major or minor) with 1 year of experience in health related research or health related field / programs. Proficient in reading, writing and speaking the local language of the respective state.
Desirable Qualification:-
1. Masters in Statistics or Social Science OR Public health OR Epidemiology OR Social work.
2. Experience in data analysis using statistical software
3. Knowledge of computer applications
Age Limit:- Candidates age limit should have 30 years and age relaxation as per GOI rules.
Nature of Duties:- Assist in the project implementation activities of quantitative research, data collection from the field and data management. Report preparation, liasoning with other project sites and on site administrative activities.
Pay Band:- Rs. 27,945/- per month(consolidated)
For the Post Project Assistant-Social Science(Previously Technical Assistant):-
Educational Qualification:- Candidates should be possess three years graduate degree with Social sciences(major or minor) 1 year of experience in health related research or health related field / programs. Proficient to read, write and speak the local language of the respective state.
Desirable Qualification:-
1. Masters in Social Sciences OR Public health OR Epidemiology OR Social work.
2. Experience in qualitative research.
3. Knowledge of computer applications.
Age Limit:- Candidates age limit should have 30 years and age relaxation as per GOI rules.
Nature of Duties:- Assist in the project implementation activities of qualitative research, data collection from the field and data management. Report preparation, liasoning with other project sites and on site administrative activities.
Pay Band:- Rs. 27,945 per month (consolidated).
The incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project. Upper Age limit is as mentioned against each post as on the date of interview. Age limit relaxation admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates as per rules.
Candidates having proficiency in the local language of the state and English will be mandatory for posting in respective states. Interview will be held only for selected short-listed
candidates at the venue and on the date intimated individually through em ail.
The Director/Selection Committee has the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason and no recommendation in this matter will be entertained.
