Eligibility Criteria for NBSTC Recruitment 2016
Educational Qualification: Candidates should passed VIII for Driver Posts, Madhyamik or equivalent Examination for Conductor Posts and Must possess a Trade certificate ITI in the respective Trade from any recognized Institution.
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 40 years as on 01.01.2015 for all posts. In case of reservation, age relaxation shall be followed as per rule and law of Govt. of West Bengal.
Physical Measurement:
Driver: Minimum Height: 5 ft 3 inch and Eyesight: 6/6 (No Colour Blindness)
Conductor: Minimum Height: 5 ft 2 inch and Eyesight: 6/6 (No Colour Blindness)
Mechanics: Minimum Height: — Eyesight: —–
Experience
Driver: Must possess a valid driving license issued by the Licensing Authority for 5 years with license for running Heavy Motor Vehicle for at least 3 years as on 01.01.2015. Experience for driving bus for at least 3 years.
Conductor: Must possess a valid conductor license issued by the Licensing Authority and experience for working as bus conductor for at least 1 years as on 01.01.2015.
Mechanics: In repairing of vehicles for at least 3 years experience from any Transport organization / Automobile Workshop.
Application Fee: A non-refundable Demand Draft (only for UR category) of Rs.50/- in favour of North Bengal State Transport Corporation, payable at Cooch Behar along with attested copy of all certificates including 2 Nos. self address envelop duly stamped of Rs.5/- is to be attached with the application.

Eligible and interested candidates can send their application in the prescribed application format within 18.01.2016 at North Bengal State Transport Corporation, Paribahan Bhawan, Post & Dist – Cooch Behar, Pin – 736101 in the drop box (which is to be kept at Paribhan Bhawan) or by post. The Authority will not be liable for postal delay.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected initially practical test will be held for Drivers and Mechanics. Only fittest candidates will be called for interview and the conductor will be selected through interview.
