Eligible Criteria for Odisha Police constable Recruitment 2015

Educational Qualification: Candidates should be process 10+2 examination & candidate should be able to speak, read and write odia.

Physical Measurements:

HIGHT– Male candidates should have 168 cm, female should have 158 cm. & S.C/S.T Male candidates should have 163 cm, Female should have 153 cm.

Age Limit: Candidate shall not be below 18 years of age and above 23 years of age as on 01.01.2015(upper age is relax-able up to 5 years in case of SC & ST & women Candidates).

Examination fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs.150/- as examination fee through Bank draft/Postal order in favour of payable to the concerned Supdt. of Police of the Dist. and Dy.Commissioner of Police (Hqrs.), Bhubaneswar. SC/ST candidates are exempted are examination fee.

Selection process: The candidates will be selected through physical test and medical examination. The shortlisted candidates from the PET will be called for medical test.

How to apply for Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2015

Irrespective of the category, the candidates intending to apply in Dist. / Police Commissioner ate shall pay Rs.35/-
(Thirty five) only in shape of Bank Draft / Postal Order towards cost of application forms in the concerned Dist. SsP / Dy.Commissioner of Police (Hqrs.), Bhubaneswar.

Photo copy of certificate/documents:

  1. Self attested photo copy of +2 Mark sheet.
  2. Candidates of SC & ST categories shall enclose self attested photo copy of Caste certificate issued by the competent
    authority for the purpose of employment.
  3. Candidate claiming reservation under SEBC category shall enclose self attested photo copy of valid SEBC certificate
    issued by the competent authority.
  4. Self attested photo copy for registration of his / her name in the employment exchange (except Group ”D” employee  working in Police Department).
  5. Self attested photo copy of Sports certificates (specified sports event as per Govt. Rule).
  6. Self attested photo copy of NCC (A, B & C) certificates (for the NCC certificate candidates).
  7. Self attested photo copy of Driving licenses (candidate efficient in Driving and posses either light or heavy vehicle licenses).
  8. Self attested photo copy of discharge certificate (for Ex-Service personnel).
  9. Self attested photo copy of enrollment of Home Guard (for Home Guard candidates) and completed 3 years of enrollment and undergone basic course of training.
  10. Three passport size color photograph with self attestation in the back side of the photo (excluding the photograph pasted in the application form).
  11. Self attested photo copy of age proof (HSC Certificate or equivalent).
