Educational Qualification:-
Pass in Standard 10 or its equivalent.
Should be domicile of Puducherry Union Territory.
Age Limit:-
For Home Guard (Female) – Should have completed the age of 18 yrs, and should not have crossed the age of 40 yrs as on 29/11/2023.
For Home Guard (Male) – Should have completed the age of 18 yrs, and should not have crossed the age of 50 yrs as on 29/11/2023.

PST, PET, Written Test & Medical Examination.
Physical Standard Test:-
Male Candidates
Height – Men not Less than 165 cms,
Chest – Men 81-86 cms, With Minimum expansion of 5 Cms
Weight – Men Body Mass Index (BMI) Should be 18.50 to 29.9 kg/ M2
Female Candidates
Height – Women not Less than – 154 cms.
Weight – 45 kgs. Minimum.
Physical Efficiency Test:-
Male Candidates
Run – 800 Meters Run (2 Minutes & 50 Seconds) and 100 Meters Run (20 Seconds)
Long Jump – 3.80 Meters
High Jump – 1.20 Meters
Female Candidates
Run – 200 Meters Run (45 Seconds)
Long Jump – 2.75 Meters
High Jump – 0.9 Meters
