Total duration of Training : Two years
Stipend during Training :
For Category I : Rs.9,300/- per month for 1st year, Rs.10,500/- per month for 2nd year.
For Category II : Rs.6,200/- per month for 1st year, Rs.7,200/- per month for 2nd year.
Grade After Successful completion of Training :
Scientific Assistant/C : Rs.9,300/- to Rs.34,800/- PB-2, GP- Rs.4,600/- , Initial Pay in PB Rs.12,540/-, Total emoluments (approx) Rs.35,880/-.
Technician/C : Rs.5,200/- to Rs.20,200/- PB-1, GP- Rs.2,400/- , Initial Pay in PB Rs.7,510/-, Total emoluments (approx) Rs.21,420/-.
Technician/B : Rs.5,200/- to Rs.20,200/- PB-1, GP- Rs.2,000/- , Initial Pay in PB Rs.6,460/-, Total emoluments (approx) Rs.17,720/-.
Eligible Criteria for RRCAT Stipendiary Trainee Post
Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 19 years to 24 years as on 29-09-2014 for Category-I, 18 years to 22 years for Category-II. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.
Essential/Educational Qualification : Candidates must possess SSC or HSC with Science & Maths PLUS ITI/NCVT certificate in Electronics/Fitter/Machinist/Welder/Draftsman(Mechanical/Civil).
