Eligible Criteria for SSB 485 Inspector SI ASI Posts
Qualification and Age Limit:
1) Accounts Officer: Officers of the Central / State Government: Holding analogous post on regular basis / 5 years regular service in the pay scale of Rs. 5500-175-9000 or equivalent. And should possess any one of the following qualification: (i) Subordinate Accounts Service or equivalent examination conducted by any of the organised Accounts Departments of the Central Government. (ii) Successful completion of training in Cash & Accounts work in the Institute of Secretarial Training and Management or equivalent and experience in Cash Accounts and Budge work. Upper age limit of the candidates should be 52 years.
2) Inspector (Min): Officers of the Central / State Government / Union Territory Police Organizations: Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent department / cadre or with 5 years regular service in the Pay Band – II / Grade Pay – 4200 in the parent department / cadre. And having qualified Office Procedure Course and Cash & Account Course. Upper age limit of the candidates should be 52 years.
3) Inspector (JHT): Officers of the Central / State Government / Union Territory Police Organizations: Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre / department or with 5 years regular service in the Pay Band – II / Grade Pay – 4200 in the parent department / cadre. And Masters degree from a recognised University in Hindi / English with Hindi and English as a compulsory / elective subjects or as the medium of examination at the degree level, or Masters degree from a recognised University in any subject other then Hindi and English with Hindi / English as the medium of examination and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective or as medium of examination at degree level, or Bachelors degree from a recognised University with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject either of the two as the medium of examination plus Diploma or certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or 2 years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government department including Government of India undertaking and working knowledge of computer application or equivalent. Upper age limit of the candidates should be 52 years.
