Eligibility Criteria for Telangana Police Recruitment 2016
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed SSC (10th class examination) or any other examination recognized by the State Government as being equivalent to SSC and must possess Industrial Training Institution Certificate in Electronics, Mechanic OR Information Technology and Electronics System Maintenance OR Computer Operator and Programming Assistant OR Mechanic Consumer Electronics OR Electrician OR Vocational Intermediate
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 22 years as on 1st July, 2016. The upper age limit is relaxable up to a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Backward Class or a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
Fees Structure: Candidates belonging to OCs/BCs have to pay of Rs.400/- and those belonging to SCs/STs shall pay a fee of Rs.200/- towards Application Processing and Examinations. Candidates has to visit any of the Mee Seva (e-Seva) / TS Online / AP Online centres to pay the prescribed Registration Fee by providing his / her Basic personal details like Name, Father Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Community, Gender and SSC Hall Ticket Number or its equivalent and other details etc.
The applicant may also pay through Payment Gateway (Credit card / Debit card / Internet Banking) and can submit online application form at www.tslprb.in.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected based on Physical Measurements Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Eligibility Criteria for Telangana Police Recruitment 2016
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed a Degree awarded by any University in India or any other equivalent qualification.
Distance Education: The candidates who have obtained Degree through Open Universities / Distance Education mode are required to have recognition by the University Grants Commission / AICTE / Distance Education Council as the case may be. Unless such Degrees had been recognized by the relevant Statutory Authority, they will not be accepted for purpose of Educational Qualification. The onus of Proof of recognized by the relevant Statutory Authority that their Degrees / Universities have been recognized rests with the candidate.
Note: The candidates who possess higher qualification than the prescribed once will also be considered for selection on par with the candidates who possess the prescribed qualification.
Age Limit: Candidates minimum age is 21 years and maximum age 25 years for post I & II, 18 years to 30 years for post III as on 01.07.2016. The upper age limit is relaxable as per rules.
Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on Preliminary Written Test, Physical Measurements Test, Physical Efficiency test, Final Written Examination.
Application & Examination Fee: Applicants belonging to OCs / BCs shall pay a fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) and those belonging to SCs / STs shall pay a fee of Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) towards Application Processing and Examinations.

Even after making payment of fee, candidate fails to submit the Online Application Form, such applications shall be rejected without giving any notice and fee once paid will not be refunded in any case.
