Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination II 2016 – 413 Vacancies
Age Limit & Relaxation:
(A) Indian Military Academy: Born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 not later than 1st July, 1998
(B) Indian Naval Academy: Born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st July, 1998
(C) Air Force Academy: Born not earlier than 02nd July, 1993 and not later than 01st July, 1997
(D) Officers Training Academy (SSC Course for Men): Born not earlier than 2nd July, 1992 and not later than 1st July, 1998
(E) Officers Training Academy (SSC Course for Women): Unmarried women born not earlier than 2nd July, 1992 and not later than 1st July, 1998
Post-wise Educational Qualification:
For IMA & OTA: Candidates should have completed Graduation Level of Education in any discipline from the recognized University or Institution.
For Indian Naval Academy: B.E or B.Tech Degree from recognized University or Institute.
For Air Force Academy: Candidates should possess Graduation Degree in Science Stream from recognized University or Institute.
Physical Standard:
Male Candidates:
Height: 157.5 cms. (157 cms for Navy’s vacancies and 162.5 cms for Air Force)
Female Candidates:
Height: 152 cms (Gorkhas and individuals belonging to North-Eastern hilly region, Garhwali and Kumaon, the Minimum acceptable height will be 5 cms less. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2 cms).
Terms & Conditions Regarding UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination II 2016 – 413 Vacancies
Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using Net-banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card. Female/ SC/ ST candidates are exempted from paying of Application Fee.
Selection Process:
Selection of the candidates will be based on Performance in the Written Examination followed by Personal Interview conducted by the Competent Authority.
