Qualification of Visakhapatnam Port Trust Recruitment 2014
1) Welder:
Candidates have to possess ITI in the trade of Welder.
2) Electrician:
Candidates have to possess ITI in the trade of Electrician.
3) Fitter:
Candidates have to possess ITI in the trade of Fitter.
4) Mechanic (Motor Vehicle):
Candidates have to possess ITI in the trade of Mechanic (Motor Vehicle).
5) Carpenter:
Candidates have to possess ITI in the trade of Carpenter.
6) Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic:
Candidates have to possess ITI in the trade of Electrician.
7) Electronics Mechanic:
Candidates have to possess ITI in the trade of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.
8) Turner:
Candidates have to possess ITI in the trade of Turner.
Age Limit:
Candidates age limit minimum 14 years as on 31/10/2014
Reservation:
The reservation of training placements for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes is at a
ratio of 1:8, 1:20 and 1: 4 respectively on the basis of total number of placements in terms of Apprentices Act, 1961.
Stipend for Apprentices
1) First year of training : Rs. 2100/- per month. (as applicable)
2) Second year of training : Rs 2400/- per month. (as applicable)
3) Third year of training : Rs. 2800/- per month. (as applicable)
How to apply:
Eligible candidates are required to fill the applications in the prescribed format with latest passport size photo along with necessary certificates duly attested by a Gazetted Officer shall be submitted to the Chief Mechanical Engineer, Visakhapatnam Port Trust, Visakhapatnam-530 035 either by post or in person on or before 17.11.2014 by 03:00 p.m.
The candidate should submit his application along with relevant enclosure viz. proof of age, marks sheet, caste certificate etc., duly attested by a Gazetted Officer invariably. The applications, which do not contain the relevant attested copies of the certificates, will be summarily rejected.
