Essential Eligibility Criteria for GSI Kolkata Recruitment 2016 – 209 Driver Posts
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should be an Ex-Serviceman Armed Forces Personnel Due to retired or retired applicants who have completed Matriculation (10th) level of Education with valid Driving license of light Motor Vehicle (LMV) & Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) with 03 years Experience in Driving Jeeps, Truck or Tractors.
Age Limit:
Candidates Age should be less than 56 Years as on 26.07.2016. The upper Age Limit will be relaxed for Reserved Category as per Government norms.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected through various selection rounds which include Driving Trials & Interview will be conducted by the Geological Survey of India.
Salary Scale:
Selected candidates will be placed in a Regular Pay Scale of Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900/- besides DA, HRA & other allowances applicable as per Government rules.
