› Trainee Electrical Officer– Candidates should have a BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics and in possessing of DG approved ETO course certificate, without sailing experience. Candidates must be a possession of valid CDC, passport, pan Card and INDOS No, completed all required STCW – 2010 courses including STSDSD from DGS approved institutes & ETO course certificate all should be from Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) approved institute.
› Electrical Officer– Candidates should be a retired Indian Navy personnel with BE / Diploma awarded by the Indian Navy, and has sailed as a chief artificer, and is in possession of DG approved ETO course certificate with Minimum six months sailing experience as Electrical Officer on merchant navy vessels.
Age limit:
Candidates required age limit for this post will be less than 30 years as on 31/08/2017. upper age limit will be relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST candidates & 03 years for OBC candidates as per government rule.
Salary Scale:
candidates will get Consolidated emoluments of Rs. 15,000/- for Trainee Electrical Officer & Rs. 3164/- for Electrical Officer per month.

Candidates age limit will be less than 45 years for ERPO post & 30 years for Trainee ERPO post as on 30/11/2017. Age limit will be relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST candidates & by 03 years for OBC candidates as per Government rule.
Salary Scale:
Candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 14170/- for ERPO post Rs. 10000/- for Trainee ERPO post per month.
