Eligibility Criteria for SSA Daman Recruitment 2016
Educational Qualification for Primary Teachers I-V:
Candidates should have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Or
Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
Educational Qualification for Upper Primary School Teacher Class VI-VIII:
Candidates must have completed BA / B.Sc / B.Com and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Or
Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
Age Limit: Candidates age not exceeding 30 years. The upper age limit is relaxable to Govt. Servant upto 5 years in accordance to Order / Instruction issued by the Govt. of India from time to time.
Selection Criteria for Posts:
- Weightage to marks obtained in TET: 65%
- Educational & Professional Qualification: 10% (5% Academic + 5% Professional)
- Knowledge of ICT skills: 05%
- Domicile of Daman & Diu: 20%
