Direct Central Counselling is being conducted for eligible applicant for admission to B.Ed. Course in affiliated Self Financing B.Ed. Colleges under Vidyasagar University against the Vacant seat after Phase II Counselling and Admission. The eligible candidate may report to the office of the B.Ed. Section during 24th August, 2015 to 31st August 2015 for direct central counseling.
Eligibility for Vidyasagar University B.Ed. Admission 2015
Eligibility: Candidates with at least 50% marks either in Bachelor’s Degree and/or in Master’s degree, for SC/ST/PH Category 45% marks either in Bachelor’s and/or in Master’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce having two subjects at the degree level of the available method subjects (Bengali, English, History, Sanskrit, Economics, Grography, Mathematics, Life Science, Physical Science, Work Education, Education) taught in the college are eligible. Candidates with 55% marks in B.E./B.Tech. in UG level (for SC/ST/PH category 50% marks) are also eligible.
Age Limit: For Fresher candidates age limit should be between 38 years as on 30-06-2015.
How to Apply for Vidyasagar University B.Ed. Admission 2015
STEP 1: Candidates first visit Vidyasagar University’s official website http://bed.vidyasagar.ac.in and Check the College-wise and Category-wise vacancy. Eligible Candidates willing to get admission on the vacant seat, may visit B.Ed. website http://bed.vidyasagar.ac.in and download the Application Form and fill it up as per instruction in next page.
STEP 2: Report to the Vidyasagar University B.Ed. Admission Section on any working day during 24-08-2015 to 31-08-2015 from 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday along with the filled in Application Form, all original testimonials and self attested Xerox copies of the testimonials. Admission authority will scruitinize the application form with the eligible as per NCTE Norms. If Eligible, Candidate will be handed over Application Fees Payment Challan on spot for Payment of Application Fees of Rs.280/- to be submitted to the UCO Bank, Vidyasagar University Branch.
STEP 3: After Application Fees payment, the candidate will report back to the B.Ed. Admission section on the same day and will be allotted seat in the college for admission on the spot as per the available seat.
STEP 4: The scrutinized Application form along with the allotment details and last date of Admissionat College, will be handed over to the Candidate. The Candidate must report to the allotted college and get admitted within the last date of Admission with the payment of requisite Course Fee. Allotment will be cancelled if a candidate is failedd to take admission with in the last date and the seat will be declared as vacant by the college to the University for inclusion of the vacant seat in direct counselling in the next day.

1. Documents to be submitted by all Candidates-
The following Self Attested testimonials should accompany the Application from
a. Self Attested copy of Admit Card / Certificate of Madhyamik or equivalent examination for Evidence of Age.
b. Self Attested copy (both sides) of mark sheets of Madhymik, Higher Secondary, Graduation (Part-I, Part-II, & Part-III), Postgraduate Exam.
c. Self Attested copy of Vidyasagar University Registration Certificate if Applicable.
2. Documents to be submitted by Candidates in SC/ST/PH Reserved Category-
The Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH category must submit their caste/disability certificates from the appropriate authority.
3. Additional Documents to be submitted by Deputed (Teacher) Candidates only-
a. Copy of Approval letter of D.I. of School, Govt, of W.B.
b. Copy of MC Resolution approving deputation.
c. Certificate from Head of the Institution that the candidates in teaching from Class IX onwards.
